Keeneland September Sale Graduate Uncontested Establishes Credentials with Smarty Jones Romp

LEXINGTON, KY (Jan. 17, 2017) – Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduate Uncontested cruised to a 5¼-length win in the Smarty Jones Stakes at Oaklawn on Monday, and with the victory moved into fourth place on the Road to the Kentucky Derby (G1) leaderboard. Other recent September Sale stakes-winning alumni are Flatlined, who got up in the final strides to take the Ft. Lauderdale (G2) at Gulfstream, and Reynaldothewizard, winner for the third consecutive year of the Dubawi (L) at Meydan.
