2022 Kentucky Derby at Keeneland

Celebrate the Kentucky Derby at Keeneland. With over 1,000 TVs, access to wagering, great food, Maker’s Mark drink specials and live music at the Bud Light Stage in the Paddock, Keeneland is the perfect place to watch the Run for the Roses.

Gates open at 10 a.m. and parking is free. Due to capacity limitations, advanced ticket purchase is recommended. Fans will not be permitted to bring food or coolers inside the admission gates. Concessions and bars will be open throughout the Grandstand. Patrons may bring their own chairs for use on the North Terrace and Track Apron. Keeneland will have limited patio tables and chairs in the Saddling Paddock for fans to use on a first-come, first-served basis.

General Information
  • Gates open at 10:00 a.m. 
  • Due to capacity limitations, advance ticket purchase is encouraged.
  • General Admission patrons are permitted to bring in their own chairs, which are allowed on the first floor only. Open seating is available on the Track Apron, and in general areas on the first, second and third floors of the facility. For Derby Day, patrons are permitted to sit in the Saddling Paddock and Walking Ring. Concessions and bars will be open throughout the facility.
  • NO outside food or beverage is permitted through the admissions gates.  Additionally, coolers, grills and tents will not be permitted.
  • For the safety of our guests, patrons will be asked to open their coats or jackets for visual inspection, and soft checks will be done on purses and backpacks. Firearms and weapons are not allowed within the Keeneland gates.
  • Only trained service animals are permitted inside the gates.
  • The Hill will be open for tailgating. Please enter Gate 4.

Oaks and Derby Day Simulcasting:

  • Simulcast floor doors open at 9 a.m., Wagering to open at 10 a.m.

  • The Clubhouse will be available for overflow seating for simulcast patrons, food and beverages will be available in the Clubhouse.
  • No ticketed dining experiences.
  • No Drive-Thru wagering
  • Walk Up Wagering will be available on the apron
