Dual classic winner Golden Tempo, coming off a third-place finish in the Grade 1 Travers Stakes at Saratoga on August 29, breezed five-furlongs from the half-mile pole in a "bullet" :59 4/5, working in company with stablemate Commentate, a lightly-raced Candy Ride (Arg) colt, for trainer Cherie DeVaux. The pair got the final eighth of the move in a sharp :12 2/5 with Golden Tempo, a bay son of Curlin, working on the inside if his company.
