Creole Chrome

Working towards a possible engagement in the Grade 1 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes on April 4, Creole Chrome, a son of Volatile, drilled a half-mile in :49 flat for trainer Joe Sharp. The Louisiana-bred, who is coming off a 6 3/4-length win in the Star Guitar Stakes at Fair Grounds, started off three lengths behind his company--stablemates Stepping Stones, a three-year-old Maclean's Music filly, and Awesomesauce, a four-year-old Union Rags filly who is riding a two-race win streak, and finished on even terms with his workmates at the wire; relaxed early, finished on the bridle.
