He also had his best Breeders’ Cup finish when Percy’s Bar finished third in the NetJets Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) at Del Mar. She prepped for the race with a runner-up in the Darley Alcibiades (G1). One race later, Machado guided Street Beast to fourth-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1). Both horses are trained by Keeneland-based Ben Colebrook.
Machado’s younger brother Dylan was a standout jockey in Brazil who won his first North American race soon after he arrived here. That win came Nov. 28, 2025, at Churchill Downs aboard Good Money. Dylan Machado segued to the Turfway meet, where he was among the leading riders at the end of the 2026 winter meeting. He then competed at Keeneland during the 2026 Spring Meet.
Another brother, Muriel Machado also rode races in Brazil. He works as a valet and assists his brothers.
