Brown quintet Headlines 18 Nominations to Jenny Wiley

Trainer Chad Brown has won the Jenny Wiley (G1) four times, and for the 2022 renewal of the $500,000 race he has five of the 18 nominees. 

The Jenny Wiley, to be run at 1 1/16 miles over the grass, will be contested Saturday, April 16 with entries to be taken Wednesday, April 13. 

Headlining the Brown contingent are Peter Brant’s Regal Glory, winner of the TAA Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf Invitational (G3) Presented by Pepsi and Matriarch (G1) in her past two starts, and Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables and Robert LaPenta’s Shantisara (IRE), the 5-length winner of last fall’s Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) Presented by Dixiana here. 

Brown’s other nominees are the undefeated Bleecker Street, owned by Brant, and graded stakes winners Fluffy Socks, owned by Head of Plains Partners, and Brant’s In Italian (GB)
