Five Millionaires Among Nominees To Sycamore

Five millionaires, four of them Grade 1 winners, are among 38 nominees to the 28^th running of the $300,000 Sycamore (G3) to be run Friday, Oct. 14 going 1½ miles on the Keeneland turf course.

The Grade 1-winning millionaires are Donegal Racing and Joseph Bulger’s Arklow, Wachtel Stable, Gary Barber, R. A. Hill Stable and Reeves Thoroughbred Racing’s champion Channel Maker, Otter Bend Stables’ Gufo and Madaket Stable, Michael Dubb, Wonder Stables, Michael Kisber and Bethlehem Stables’ Rockemperor (IRE).

The fifth millionaire is Trinity Farm’s Red Knight, who topped the million-dollar mark with his nose victory over Gufo in the Kentucky Turf Cup (G2) at Kentucky Downs on Sept. 10.
