Floriform Takes Wednesday’s Featured Diamond A Farms Purse

April 27, 2022

Juddmonte’s homebred Floriform charged down the center of the course and took command in the final yards to win Wednesday’s featured $120,000 Diamond A Farms Purse by a half-length. (Click here for a video of the race.)

Ridden by Joel Rosario for trainer Bill Mott, Floriform covered 1 1/16 miles over a turf course labeled firm in 1:42.96.

A 4-year-old colt by Into Mischief out of July Jasmine, by Empire Maker, Floriform earned $67,890 for today’s win, which increased his career earnings to $164,868 with three wins in seven starts.

Floriform, the 8-5 favorite, paid $5.40, $3.20 and $2.80 Cellist, ridden by Julien Leparoux, finished second and returned $4.60 and $3.80. Running third a neck back was Monition, who paid $5.40 to show under Brian Hernandez Jr.

Skyro finished 1¼ lengths behind in fourth and was followed in order by Continental Coins, Point Me By, Buy Me Candy, Absam, Leblon, Good Juju, Palazzi and Be Here.
