1st race – (9) A Thing of Beauty was a competitive fourth in her debut and should move forward today. (5) Piccadilly Line debuts for Pletcher and should be a contender. (6) Perhaps Tonight makes her U.S. debut and cannot be ignored. (8) Solo Uno should be a factor in her career debut. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-8-9.

5th race - (3) Ahead of Plan returns to turf and should be ready for a big effort. (4) Lontano was second in a Woodbine turf sprint stakes and could emerge as the main threat. (1) Macho Blue has been no worse than third in his last four starts and belongs in the exotics. (7) Tale of Kantharos could be a threat in the stretch. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-7. Doubles: 1-3-4-7 with 1-3-4-5.

6th race – (1) Winter Pool is a firster for Chad Brown with some promising works that bode well for a strong effort here. (3) Bold Agenda was third when well-bet in his debut and could be more competitive here. (4) No More Business was second in his last two starts and cannot be ignored. (5) Growl Tiger should run better on dirt. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-5.

10th race – (1) Linny Kate will benefit from a rail trip and should be closing quickly in the stretch. (4) Bean Counter is usually right there at the finish and should make his presence felt against these. (2) Nope should be more competitive in her second U.S. start. (8) Setting the Mood was hurt by a wide trip and deserves a second chance here. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-8. Doubles: 1-2-4-8 with 1-2-5-7.

11th race – (5) Cadencia (A) rallied to miss by a neck last time and should register a maiden win against this field. (2) Deemed Essential might perk up on turf. (1) Alwayz Late drew rough posts in her last two starts and will be helped by the rail and a ground-saving trip. (7) Victorian Gold could have a nice future in front of her and is worth a look in her debut. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-7.
