Keeneland Sales Graduates in Thursday at Royal Ascot

Horses purchased at Keeneland are scheduled to compete Thursday during the third day of the prestigious five-day Royal Ascot meeting in England.

Fans may watch and wager on Royal Ascot through Keeneland Select, where users earn lucrative rewards and support Keeneland’s mission to invest in Thoroughbred racing. Sale graduates entered in Thursday races at Royal Ascot include:

Ribblesdale (G2) (3-year-old fillies, 1½ miles) at 10:40 a.m. ET:

  • Ken and Sarah Ramsey bred Mystic Wells, a daughter of Kitten’s Joy, and their Ramsey Farm consigned her to the 2020 September Yearling Sale, where she sold for $75,000 to Bishop Bloodstock. George Boughey trains Mystic Wells for Mrs. and Mrs. R. Scott and Mr. and Mrs. D. Bevan. The filly will be ridden by Ben Curtis. 

Brittania (3-year-old males, 1 mile) at noon:

  • Sed Maarib, a gelding by American Pharoah, sold as a weanling at the 2019 November Breeding Stock Sale for $225,000 to Broadhurst Agency. He was consigned by Frankfort Park Farm, agent, which bred him with Brendan Gallagher Bloodstock et al. Owned by KHK Racing and trained by George Scott, Sed Maarib will be ridden by Adrie de Vries.
