Keeneland Sales & Racing Update, July 10

To our customers:

We hope this email finds you well and you’ve enjoyed the first two days of our much-anticipated Summer Meet. It will certainly be a race meet for the history books. While our grounds have been much quieter than normal, it’s been so nice to see our owners, trainers and jockeys. Our faces may be hidden behind masks, but there are smiles all around as we return to the sport we love. We are so appreciative of the support from our horsemen and women and we thank the many of you who are celebrating with us at home.

As we look toward a spectacular weekend of racing, we are also busy preparing for the fall. Below you will find an update on the format for the 2020 September Yearling Sale. Many of you received session assignments for the September Sale earlier this week and received news that we’ve made a slight tweak to the sale schedule after finalizing entries and hip numbers. As we previously shared with you, the sale will begin on Sunday, Sept. 13, to accommodate the record number of entries to the sale for 2020.

A reminder that entries are currently open for the 2020 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, which begins Monday, Nov. 9, immediately following the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Keeneland.
