Keeneland Summer Challenge Recap
July 12, 2020Keeneland hosted its first online handicapping challenge on Saturday, July 11th, and 208 players competed in the $3,000 buy-in event for $100,000 in prize money, 6 Breeders’ Cup Challenge spots, and 10 National Horseplayers Championship spots.
Entrants competed through two major Account Wagering venues, XpressBet and TVG.
Stephen Thompson won the tournament with an incredible bankroll of $41,076, accomplished through a $200 exacta and a $50 trifecta in Keeneland’s 10th race. Chris Larmey finished second with a bankroll of $19,915, and Zachary Agamenoni came in 3rd with $17,205.
