1st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) Copious (A) broke last on a speed favoring track, was able to pick up three spots, and makes first start after claim by Linda Rice. (4) Fateful Lightning came back from a four-month layoff to finish second. (5) Print missed by a nose in February in his second start on the dirt after switching from the turf. (1) Pauillac was fourth in his debut at 5-1 for Chad Brown. Blinkers go on which is a 25% winning move.

4th race [Clm 45000, 6 ½ F] – (4) Purple Divine hit the board in her last three starts including a starter allowance last month. (7) Cravings won 2 out of her last 3 starts in a maiden where she was taken for $35,000 and last month when she was claimed again for a $25,000 tag. (5) Probable Angle won her last two races going from a $40,000 maiden versus NY-breds to a $40,000 claimer. (1) Baseball Lady drops back in for a tag after two high-price starter allowances.

6th race [Clm 30000, 7F] – (3) Proud Foot was a winner 10 days ago at this level and that came after a five-month layoff. (1) Brzina finished first or second in her last five races including last month after four months away. (7) Despo’s Dream was third in a starter allowance last time. (8) Mursal drops into a claimer for the first time in five starts for Linda Rice.

8th race [Clm 30000, 7F] – (6) Stewie (A) broke through the gate twice, got pinched back at the start, and lost all chance. (3) Miles Ahead comes back from a June layoff, changes to the barn of Linda Rice, and drops in at a lowest level as a former stakes winner. (1) Ten Cent Town has 2 wins from his last 4 races including a starter allowance and a $16,000 claimer from which he was taken. (7) Jackson Heights rallied for second the last time he was at this level. He goes in for $35,000 as a NY-bred.

Best bets: Copious (1st); Purple Divine (4th). Best Value:  Proud Foot (6th); Stewie (8th).
