2nd race [Clm 16000 N2L, 1 mi] – (1) Montauk Mystique broke her maiden in January against NY-breds and then was second by a nose when she tried the N2L condition and dropped down to this level. (4) Focus Pocus dropped down to this level and just missed the win by a nose three weeks ago. (6) She’s Cool has a few top three finishes for higher claiming prices recently and drops down with blinkers on. (5) That’sthefactjack gets blinkers back on with a chance to get a check.
4th race [NY, OC 45k/N2X, 1 mi] – (4) Call Her Bluff won at this level in December, tried a couple of tougher spots, dropped back to this level with the claiming option to finish second after setting the pace, and now makes her first start since Linda Rice took her for the $45,000. (6) Brown Suga Babe like the top choice is a past winner at this level that ran for a tag last time, finished third after she broke through the gate, and got claimed. (1) Mommasgottagun ran the best race of her career in her second start after a layoff to win the first-level allowance. (3) P Mutter Pickle was a convincing winner of the first allowance in January and stepped up to this condition to run fourth after a rough trip.
5th race [Md Sp Wt, 7F] – (5) Limes Don’t Lie debuted at Saratoga in August for Chad Brown with 8-5 odds and finished third after a wide trip. She comes back with first-time Lasix. (6) I’m Very Sweet ran third and then second in her only two starts, both times at 2-1. (1A) Lady McSparkles is a first-time starter with a steady work tab for a trainer that has good stats with debut runners. (3) Cahira’s Song was close to the pace and finished fourth in her first start last month.
8th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (2) Material Girl set the pace in her first start of the year and finished second as the favorite for Chad Brown. (3) Crimson Queen has a pair of top three finishes recently in her only races. (1) Farm House hit the board in her first two starts and then was second in a maiden claimer against open-company. (7) Eagle Rising debuted on the grass last month at Gulfstream and pressed the pace before finishing fifth against a large field.
