4th race [Bay Shore, 7F] – (1) Solitude Dude won his first three starts with top speed figures by open lengths in the Inaugural at Tampa and the Swale at Gulfstream. He had the lead in the Fountain of Youth (G2) but was third going too long in that Derby prep. (4) Igniter won his two races this year in a February allowance and then the Jimmy Winkfield. (8) Irish Goodbye (A) rallied from last to second in his debut as the 5-2 favorite behind a Clement first-time starter. (1) Bakuto broke last in his March debut and rallied for second at 8-5. (9) Nordic Frye debuted in December, broke slowly, and then closed from far back in last to get third.

Best bets:  Sandtrap (2nd); Solitude Dude (4th). Best Value: Bernieandtherose (3rd); Lord King (9th).
