2^nd race [NY, Alw 76000 N1X, 1 mi] – (2) Shared Success (B) returned from a three-month layoff for a new trainer and was unprepared for the start but still finished third. (4) A Lister (A) lost a stretch duel by a neck even though the jockey lost his crop and finished well clear of the rest of the field. (1) Senegal was second last month at this level and gets a positive rider change. (3) Landauer will cut back to the mile distance at which he broke his maiden.

5^th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (6) Pandemic Hero came back from a nine-month layoff making a change to a new trainer and ran second after setting the pace against open company. (7) Inonit also returns from a long layoff and was second in a high-level maiden claimer against open company. (5) Foto will debut for a trainer that is good with firsters. (3) Roadie is another first-time starter with positive connections and a $230,000 yearling purchase price.

6^th race [OC 45K/N1X, 7F] – (1A) Lady Mine (B) checked early, dropped back, finished fourth as a horse that rarely runs a bad race. (7) The Big Calhouna was claimed for $50,000 three races back and since was third and then first in starter allowances with early speed. (2) All Class was second twice and third since getting claimed by Linda Rice for $62,500. (8) Grammy Girl has four top three finishes in her last four races.

7^th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (4) Turn and Count (A) had no room in the stretch, steadied a few times, and lost all chance. (2) Radauti was a close second in his last three starts getting to the lead in the two most recent runs. (7) Scottish Storm was claimed from his first two starts for $20,000 and then $40,000 and was second in February in a maiden special weight. (1) Market Timing is a debut runner for Chad Brown and Klaravich with Lasix.

Best bets: Shared Success (2^nd); Turn and Count (7^th). Best Value:  Pandemic Hero (5^th); Lady Mine (6^th).
