5th race [Md 20000, 6F] – (3) Melancia hit the board three times including three weeks ago when she finished second in a similar spot as the odds-on favorite. (6) Teca will drop down in class after a September layoff for Linda Rice and gets first-time Lasix. (4) Just Words was third in her last two races. (2) Aerialist gets blinkers on and first-time Lasix and drops down from a $50,000 claimer.

6th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 1 1/8 mi] – (7) Endowed (B) had an awkward break back to last and rallied from eighth to second while well clear of the rest of the field. (6) Brown Don’t Stop has three recent competitive races in N2L claimers and they were all at the nine-furlong distance. (5) Albedo broke his maiden by more than 10 lengths for $30,000 and then tried a starter allowance and was overmatched. (4) D Day Sky has run well at this level in the past.

8th race [OC 100K/N1X, 1 mi] – (2) Uncle Jim was a debut winner at Keeneland in October as the favorite in an 11-horse field.  He was third in an allowance, ran in the Withers (G3), and was claimed after a victory for $50,000 by Linda Rice in February. (5) Uncaged was a debut winner at Saratoga at 5-1. He was fourth in an allowance at Gulfstream Park four weeks ago and gets blinkers on. (4) Toga d’Oro broke his maiden in his second start at Aqueduct at the start of March. (1) On the Mount debuted on the turf for Chad Brown at Gulfstream in February and then won on the dirt at Tampa Downs.

10th race [Moc 40000C, 7F] – (3) Into Stardom was second in his debut for Chad Brown in a NY-bred maiden special weight. (5) Calling an Audible pressed the pace, had the lead, and was second at this level last month and overall has eight finishes in the top three. (7) Our Preferred Pal was third last start in a NY-bred maiden special weight. (4) Sounds of Summer was third in his only start at the beginning of March in a similar spot.

Best bets: Melancia (5th); Into Stardom (10th). Best value: Endowed (6th); Uncle Jim (8th).
