st race [Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (1) Interstatelovesong was second all the way in her debut going seven furlongs at 6-1 for a trainer that is much better with second-time starters. (3) Carolannie had the lead and lost by a nose for a $35,000 tag and got claimed in her first try on the dirt. Blinkers go on which is a 36% win factor for the new trainer. (5) Pulling Threads will make her first career start for Chad Brown and Klaravich Stables. (4) Dolly’s Jolene as third at 8-1 in her debut at Parx Racing last month.

nd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (8) Margarita Molly has a pair of thirds from three starts where she set the pace. Blinkers come off now. (7) Roseberns Dream moves back to the dirt after one try on the grass. She was third on a sloppy and sealed track at Saratoga in July. (2) Credit Risk made three starts in $75,000 optional claimers against open company where she was not in to be claimed. She showed speed in those races, two of which were last month. (1) Bernina Express debuted on the grass going long last month at Aqueduct against a full field of 12.

th race [Alw 50000s, 1 mi] – (4) Sassy Princess was claimed for $17,500 when she won by almost 12 lengths and came back a week later to finish second in a starter allowance sprint. (1) Sailaway was claimed in October for $50,000 and then was second in a race like today. (8) Sassafrassness ships up from Delaware Park and Laurel Park where she won 4 out of her last 6 races and was claimed twice. (6) Chocolatechocolate ran second twice after getting claimed by Linda Rice from a $20,000 maiden.

th race [NY, Md 30000, 6 ½ F] – (5) Makealittlelove (B) had a slow start in her first race on the dirt, went four wide, and finished second well clear of the others. (7) Baseball Lady pressed the pace in a few starts for a bigger claiming price and cuts back from running the one-turn mile. (9) Golden Miracle returned to NY-bred racing and made a dramatic improvement to be second at this level at 29-1. (1) Shes Sal’s Dream was a $100,000 yearling purchase at Saratoga for a trainer that had a recent debut winner in a maiden claimer.

Best bets: Interstatelovesong (1st); Margarita Molly (2nd). Best value:  Sassy Princess (5th); Makealittlelove (6th).
