3rd race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (5) Letter Perfect (A) came back from a four-month layoff, got steadied back to last, rushed up, got stuck on the inside, and eventually faded. (2) Wrightsville was second in his debut in April behind a horse that became a return winner and comes back now as a new gelding showing fast works at Laurel. (6) Elvis Himself set the pace last month and finished second by just a neck at Aqueduct. This will be his third start after a layoff. (3) Sounds Like Fun was third after returning from an eight-month layoff.

6th race [Alw 12500s, 6F] – (3) Super Chief (C) was bet down from 5-1 to 3-1 and finished second by a head after a stretch duel. (8) Commerce Comet was a winner last month for a $32,000 tag and finds a perfect spot in this low-level starter allowance. (7) Mister J T won last month for $25,000 and got claimed and has five top three finishes in a row. (1) Hatch was claimed from five races in a row and then hit the board in two $50,000 starter allowances.

7th race [Alw 92000 N1X, 6 ½ F] – (1A) Save Us Melania (B) got blocked at the quarter pole two weeks ago and finished third while well clear of the rest of the field. (1) Stablemate All Class was claimed for $62,500 by Linda Rice in October in Kentucky. (8) Lady Mine (A) came back after a long layoff, got taken up at the start, and was awkward to get into stride. (5) Points is Points broke her maiden special weight at first asking in October at Keeneland. (9) Mybronxbaby won both NY-bred allowances in her last two starts.

9th race [Moc 50000, 7F] – (6) Run With Honor (A) was second in his debut after having the lead and was well clear of the rest of the field.  (3) Bobby Bob (A) was off to a slow start and rallied wide to be second in his debut well clear of the rest of the field. (1) Akinmusire gets blinkers on after a pair of thirds at this level at Churchill. (4) Bernie Goes Boom raced for purse money only last time when he was a close second in a $30,000 maiden claimer.

Best bets: Letter Perfect (3rd); Linda Rice entry (7th). Best value: Super Chief (6th); Run With Honor (9th).
