2nd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (1) Double Act was third in both of his starts that had strong fields including the Nashua winner. (2) Schoolyardsuperman clipped heels and fell in his debut but then came back to finish second and was a heavy favorite in both races for Chad Brown. (6) Buntus Foclora is another one that faced tough competition in his three starts and it looks he has found another challenging group. (4) Stream It moved from turf to dirt and had his best finish getting third last month going a mile for Linda Rice.

3rd race [Demoiselle (G2), 1 1/8 mi] – (6) Believable is a full sister of Tenfold, a winner of the Jim Dandy (G2) and Pimlico Special (G2), who sold for $800,000 as a Saratoga yearling. She won at first asking for Repole Stable and Todd Pletcher in September and was second in the Tempted last month. (3) Zany broke her maiden by more than six lengths at Gulfstream Park also for the Repole/Pletcher team. Irad Ortiz gets on board. (1) Jumping the Gun won her first three starts at Delaware Park including a pair of stakes and then was second in October. (2) Shilling won the Tempted for Kenny McPeek’s New York division.

9th race [Remsen (G2), 1 1/8 mi] – (9) Renegade (A) returned from a short layoff to cross the finish line first and was disqualified to second for bumping even though the replays showed him get knocked off stride. (11) Talkin was second in the Champagne (G1) behind the impressive performance of Napoleon Solo. (6) Courting is a full brother of multi-grade one winner Clairiere that sold for $5 million as a Keeneland yearling and was a second-start maiden winner. (7) Igniter            broke his maiden in his second try in the race where Courting was fourth.

10th race [Cigar Mile (G2), 1 mi] – (4) Crazy Moon won the Carter (G2) at Aqueduct earlier in the year with a late rally. A fast pace is expected in the Cigar Mile and he should appreciate the one-turn mile. (7) Bishops Bay returned from a layoff to win the Forty Niner (G3) last month with 5 wins from his last 6 races. (6) Phileas Fogg will cutback in distance with wins in the Suburban (G2) and the Excelsior. He won 5 out of his 9 most recent starts. (2) Mika is a 3-year-old with two open-length front-end allowance victories in his last two starts.

Best bets: Double Act (2nd); Crazy Moon (10th). Best Value:  Believable (3rd); Renegade (9th).
