3rd race [NY Alw 35000s, 6 ½ F] – (3) Apollo Code was claimed for $25,000 by Ray Handal at the beginning of the year and came back to set the pace and finish second in this kind of NY-bred race. He will make his third start in six weeks. (6) New York Scrappy was a runaway winner last month after getting claimed for $30,000 and moves back to state-bred competition. (4) Joe West flashed speed after moving from synthetic back to dirt. (7) Capt Jax Parrow was a winner in a N3L claimer in January and moves back to NY-bred racing for the first time since Saratoga.

4th race [OC16k/SAL 10k, 7F] – (1) Best Bet had five top three finishes in a row after setting the pace each time and was claimed for $16,000 going nine-furlongs. (2) Master of Arms was claimed from his last three starts for $10,000 and when he won at $16,000 twice. (8) Lucky Dude ships up from Parx Racing with two wins in a row and was claimed for $15,000 in November. (7) Quiet Wisdom was claimed from his last four races twice for $12,500 and two times for $16,000.

6th race [Alw 50000s, 7F] – (1) Brunch With Amy (C) was bet down from 9-1 to 5-1, broke last, and rallied to finish second after a serious threat to the winner. (2) Meg’s Foxy Grey was a front-end winner of a similar spot in November and then was second in an allowance. (7) Looks First won her last two races for a $20,000 tag and got claimed six weeks ago. (3) Princess Ny was a winner of her first start for Linda Rice for a $50,000 tag after she was claimed in Kentucky for the same price.

7th race [OC25k/SAL 16k, 6 ½ F] – (3) Burninhunkoflove was claimed for $20,000 two races back and stepped up to set the pace and finish second in a starter allowance. (1) Shoot the Nickel was a winner for $12,500, got claimed, and moved up to run third in the top-level starter allowance just seven days ago. (2) Play had four wins at Finger Lakes and then returned to Aqueduct where he got claimed for $20,000 out of a similar spot. (7) Shootersgottashoot changes to a New York barn after racing successfully at Mid-Atlantic tracks and may get a bit of class relief in this spot.
