1st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (4) Stone Cold Kelly (A) ducked in at the start of her debut, had to steady later in the race, and finished second. (3) More Than Grace made two career starts with a second and fourth in maiden special weights. (1) Ice Cream Boat and (1A) Vanilla Sundae are a Todd Pletcher trained entry and both of them are win contenders. (2) Lady Gunner moves from turf to dirt and as a daughter of Gun Runner should be able to do so.

3rd race [Clm 25000 N3L, 1 mi] – (3) Narciso Dali (B) climbed badly in his first start after a 10 month layoff. (7) Castle Island used early speed to finish second and then third in similar level claiming races. (2) Wake Surf was claimed twice from his last three starts and finished in the top three in both of them. (4) Prince of Chill ships up from Parx Racing again with nine top three finishes in his last 11 starts and three of them were in recent starter allowances.

4th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 6F] – (6) Majulu was claimed from a second-place finish at this level in January on the heels of a maiden claiming win. (5) Lady Arwen has two seconds at the $16,000 N2L level and last time did it after setting the pace. (2) Short Shift also used early speed to contend in three races at this level. (1) That’sthefactjack won a $20,000 maiden claimer last month by three lengths.

8th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (1) Scottish Storm (B) raced seven-wide, finished second, and got claimed in both of his starts. (1A) Badge of War was second with a speed figure last time out that tops today’s race. (7) Sturdy has been away since March of 2024 when he ran in the Tampa Derby (G3) as a maiden. He comes back as a new gelding. (2) Majestic Michael also comes back from a nearly year layoff and hit the board in all three of his starts. He changes barns and gets blinkers on. (5) Timing Difference was third last month after pressing the pace following a long layoff for Chad Brown.

Best bets: Stone Cold Kelly (1st); Majulu (4th). Best value: Narciso Dali (3rd); Scottish Storm (8th).
