2nd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (4) Executive Move (A) returns from a 15-month layoff when he was second three races in a row including after he raced wide after a rough trip and finished well clear of the rest of the field. (6) Probability changes to the barn of Amelia Green with a pair of narrow misses in second-place finishes with speed figures that are very much the highest in this field. (1) Volatile Situation changes to the barn of Todd Pletcher as a new gelding with first-time Lasix after hitting the board in all three of his races. (5) Alzero was third in a similar spot in December at Aqueduct.
3rd race [OC 25k/SAL 16k, 1 mi] – (2) She’s Cool (B) comes back after two weeks following a second-place finish where she rallied wide on an inside, speed favoring track. (1) Pink Rose will make her first start for Chad Summers who has been placing his horses in winning spots during the past few months. (6) Mursal has top three finishes in 3 out of her last 4 starts with two starter allowance wins. (4) Whistler’s Style has nine career wins including two weeks ago in a first-level allowance for Linda Rice.
5th race [Md 20000, 6 ½ F] – (5) Alias returns three weeks after setting the pace and finishing second by a head at this same level for Linda Rice. (7) Gualillo will drop down further after two starts for higher claiming prices including a close third in a $50,000 maiden claimer in December. (2) Army Proud was third for a $25,000 tag less than three weeks ago and now has eight top three finishes. (3) Senor Poncho was last seen at Saratoga in August after getting claimed for $35,000 and then running fifth.
8th race [Clm 40000 N2L, 6 ½ F] – (1) St. Brigid’s Cross will drop in for a tag for the first time since she was taken for $75,000 from an optional claiming starter allowance in November by Brad Cox. (2) Clarividente was an open-length winner of a $20,000 maiden claimer in January. (7) Purple Divine won a $75,000 maiden claimer in December and then tried a NY-bred stakes race. (4) Probable Angle came back from a five-month layoff to break her maiden by more than four-lengths in January.
