1^st race [Md 40000, 1 mi] – (4) Solve the Puzzle (A) set the pace and fought hard for second finishing 10 lengths ahead of the rest. (2) Soundbite will start in a maiden claimer for the first time after three second-place finishes and a fourth at Laurel Park against the boys last month. (5) Yo Leven was second and got claimed for $30,000 in November at Churchill Downs.  (1) Good Mission drops back into a claimer where he has three third-place finishes.

2^nd race [Md 20000, 1 mi] – (4) Daytona Moonshine (B) broke well, but drifted back to last and then rallied late. Now he gets a trainer change. (6) M G Dash had the lead and finished second at Aqueduct a week ago. (2) Arcadian gets first-time Lasix after running third in a $50,000 maiden claimer. (8) Broderick will also drop down from those $50,000 maiden optional claiming races.

6^th race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (8) More Than Grace (B) ran second the entire race in her debut and finished clear of the rest of the field. (4) Home Wrecker (A) got squeezed back at the start of her first race and then rallied for third into a slow pace at 7-1. Now she gets blinkers and Lasix. (7) Wouldja Couldja was second in her debut at Parx at 3-1. (3) Taste of Diamonds will make her debut with steady workouts since October.

7^th race [Clm 15000, 1 mi] – (3) Mr. Swagger (B) had to check early, raced on the wrong lead, finished second, and got claimed. He comes back in just eight days. (8) Flat Out Flying (B) tossed his head at the start, was rank while racing very wide, and finished second. (4) Debate won a $35,000 claimer in September and drops to this low level after a pair of starter allowances. (7) First Glimpse was claimed from his last three starts with a win for $16,000 amongst them.

Best bets: Solve the Puzzle (1^st); More Than Grace (6^th). Best value: Daytona Moonshine (2^nd); Mr.  Swagger (7^th).
