2nd race [OC 150k/N1X, 6F] – (4) Interstatelovesong was an open-length winner in her second start as an odds-on favorite in December and now gets Lasix in her first start as a 3-year-old. (3) For the Ladies is also from the barn of Tom Morley as is the top choice and won her second race by more than seven lengths at short odds. (5) Ohoopee was claimed by Linda Rice from a win in a $50,000 claiming race at Churchill Downs as a heavy favorite. (2) Caradise shows up in here for the big claiming option following a third in a starter allowance after a three month layoff.
3rd race [Clm 16000, 1 1/8 mi] – (6) Best Bet has four top three finishes in a row in races ranging from $12,500 to $16,000 and gets a favorable rider change. (1) Whiskey N Soda won in November following a 10 month layoff in a $17,500 claimer at the nine-furlong distance and then was overmatched in a starter allowance. (3) Hours in a Day was last seen in September winning for $17,500. (2) Quiet Wisdom was claimed from 3 out of his last four starts.
4th race [NY, OC 80k/N1X, 6 ½ F] – (3) Irish Fortune (A) was a debut winner by almost four lengths for a trainer that does not usually win with first-time starters. (5) Hot Currency was a maiden winner in November by more than six lengths and then was second in the NY Stallion Series Stakes after having the lead in the stretch. (6) Pinky Brier had two wins and a second by a neck in her last three races including a starter allowance win following a $50,000 maiden score. (1) Daniella Marie was third in that Stallion Series stakes after a nine length victory in a $75,000 maiden race.
9th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (2) Boiling Point (B) lost all chance after stumbling badly at the start last time. (6) Hire the Hat gets blinkers on and first-time Lasix after running second in her second start last month. (10) Into Hijinks set the pace and finished second in her debut last month at Parx Racing at 12-1 in a large field. (11) Princess Jane will make the first start of her career as a filly who was well regarded as a possible 2-year-old runner at Saratoga and resumed breezing in November.
