5^th race [Md 12500, 6F] – (2) Gypsy Dreaming set the pace in his last two starts and drops into this low maiden claimer for the first time. (1) Lough Currane moved from turf to dirt and has a third-place finish for $20,000 two races back that makes him a contender in here. (8) Grey Ace also drops down from $20,000 where he was second in November. (7) Natural Hunk gets a trainer change which could make a difference.

6^th race [NY, OC 80k/N1X, 6 ½ F] – (4) Pantherian showed plenty of speed in his two starts for Todd Pletcher and WinStar. He was moved up to first in his debut and then was second last month in an allowance like this one. (6) Party in the Army has only top three finishes and got his maiden win last time in his fifth try. (2) Wamo has run well against the top two and was the one that got disqualified against Pantherian. (5) Escape Hall was an open-length winner of a maiden claimer against NY-breds.

7^th race [Clm 100000, 1 mi] – (1) Noted (B) lunged at the break and got six lengths behind as a horse that prefers to run on the lead. (6) Light the Way was a front-end winner at this level last month as an odds-on favorite. (5) Dr. Kraft has also used early speed to hit the board in a variety of races. (4) Bramito was claimed for $50,000 by a trainer that has a small barn and won at 32% last year with 10 winners.

8^th race [NY, Md 40000, 6F] – (3) Power of Women set the pace and finished second in her second start last month. (2) Probable Angle was third at 7-1 in her debut at Saratoga in August behind two horses who came back to win their next races. (5) My Devine One had a second and a third in maiden claimers in her recent races. (7) Quinns Silent Roar will drop out of maiden special weights for the first time with a third-place finish showing in September.

Best bets: Gypsy Dreaming (5^th); Panterian (6^th). Best value: Noted (7^th); Power of Women (8^th).
