2nd race [Clm 15000, 6 ½ F] – (2) Super Chief (C) was bet down from 5-1 to 3-1 and finished second after a long head-to-head stretch duel. (1) Beary Funny won his last two starts for a $16,000 tag moving from N2L to N3L conditions. (5) Return the Ring comes back from a 10 month layoff as a new  gelding when he won for a $35,000 claiming price and makes a significant drop in class. (7) Charging Aero was claimed for $16,000 two races back and lost all chance at the break last time for $25,000.

3rd race [Clm 25000 N2L, 6F] – (6) Betta Go Go Go ran first or second in his last four starts hitting the board in 15 of his 19 career races. (1) Alpha Sonny was second at this condition two races back and then tried a NY-bred allowance. (5) David’s Tuition has been off since February of 2024 when he was running in starter allowances at Penn National. (7) Rhum Pressure will move over from Finger Lakes where he had four top three finishes from his last five starts.

5th race [NY, Md 40000, 1 mi] – (5) Pocket Queens moved from turf to dirt, dropped into the claiming ranks, and ran second well clear of the rest of the field. (8) Syl’s Pleasure was sent off at 5-2 in his debut to run second and gets blinkers on. (4) Our Preferred Pal will drop out of three maiden special weight races where he showed some speed and gets blinkers on and Lasix for the first time. (6) Rodeo Star was second a couple of weeks ago for a $25,000 tag.

6th race [OC15k/SAL 10k, 1 ¼ mi] – (2) Greener Pastures has won five out of his last six starts all going two turns at Laurel or Parx and should appreciate this long-distance starter allowance. (8) Valenzan Day was first or second in his last six starts getting claimed three times. Linda Rice just took him back. (1) Beachwalker and (1A) High Tide make a Rudy Rodriguez entry where both are win contenders. (3) Winnin’onweekends won three races in a row during the summers at Parx in starter allowances.

Best bets: Betta Go Go Go (3rd); Pocket Queens (5th). Best value: Super Chief (2nd); Greener Pastures (6th).
