3rd race [OC 50k/N1X, 1 mi] – (6) Shidabhuti was a debut winner for Chad Brown at Monmouth Park by more than six lengths in September racing from last. (4) Divine Cross broke her maiden in her second try at Aqueduct last month. (1) Gold Medal Anna is stakes-placed twice in her last two starts at Parx. (2) Howzyourcashflow was an open length winner in her first start in a maiden claimer for Rudy Rodriguez and did not get claimed.

7th race [NY, Alw 720000 N1X, 1 mi] – (4) Preposterous (B) rallied six-wide for third on a sloppy Aqueduct track that was favoring speed following a brief layoff. (7) Tough Street is the lone speed and should be able to get to lead which she did last time but was pressured out front and finished third. (3) My First Love has won her last two races moving from a N3L claimer to a starter allowance. (5) Keen Dancer won an open $25,000 claimer last start and moves back to state-bred competition.

8th race [NY, Franklin Square, 6 ½ F] – (1) Starry Midnight (A) was an impressive debut winner when she rallied from last, where she was struggling from the kickback, to get up by a head. (7) Stonewall Star set the pace and finished third in a Laurel Park stakes race following her victory in the NY-bred Key Cents stakes. She is likely to get the lead once again. (5) Banterra won a state-bred allowance by six lengths last month for the Asmussen barn. (4) Little Linzee cut back in distance last time and got third in a New York Stallion Series stake.

9th race [Clm 10000, 1 mi] – (6) Vintage Hollywood (C) took a lot of late money dropping from 11-1 to 7-1 and finished third for the second race in a row. (5) Truculent was claimed back by Linda Rice for $20,000 from his last start when he finished fourth. He is expected to set the pace. (2) Dust Devil has been off since October when he was claimed for the third time in a row and should be able to run for the waiver following the layoff. (8) Microscope has two races back from a layoff and makes a big drop in class.

Best bets:  Shidabhuti (3rd); Starry Midnight (8th). Best value: Preposterous (7th); Vintage Hollywood (9th).
