1st race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (2) Mama’s Dream made a significant improvement in his second start after a layoff when he set the pace and finished second earning a speed figure that tops this field. (4) Quiet Wisdom finished second or third in 5 out of 6 starts for Todd Pletcher. (1) Land d’Oro makes his second start for the Clement barn. (3) Judge Rules got claimed for $40,000 from a rough trip and a third-place finish.

5th race [NY, Md 30000, 6 ½ F] – (5) The Mighty Don set the pace in a similar spot in January and should be a pacesetter again. (7) Flying in Style will drop into a maiden claimer for the first time and the blinkers come off. (1) Dolly’s Bank has speed figures in several races that fit well in this field. (3) War Chrome was 8-1 in his debut where he had a rough trip at the start and then had to steady later in the race.

6th race [Alw 50000s, 1 mi] – (7) Ocean Gateway won a $40,000 claimer by more than nine-lengths in his second start after a long layoff earning a speed figure that is the best in this field. (2) Miss Kristy contended in several recent starter allowances. (1) Miss Fashionista won a maiden claimer by more than seven lengths. (4) Graceful Rose ships up from Laurel Park after a clear victory in a N2L conditioned claiming race.

8th race [Md 40000, 1 mi] – (1) Don Vino Vici (B) started slowly and was able to rally to finish second beaten by only a head after a short layoff. Blinkers come off now. (6) Apuro was third in a maiden special weight after a three-month layoff at 9-5 and now drops down to a maiden claimer in his third career start for Todd Pletcher. (3) Allegrini was third in a $75,000 maiden claimer, moved back up to a special weight, and gets the blinkers on. (8) Crown That Saint set the pace and finished second last time while running for a $20,000 tag.

Best bets: The Mighty Don (5th); Ocean Gateway (6th). Best value: Mama’s Dream (1st); Don Vino Vici (8th).
