2nd race [NY, OC45k/N2X, 6F] – (5) Acoustic Ave (C) was bet down from 8-1 to 4-1 and finished third at this level. (2) Graywing finished in the top three in 11 out of his last 12 starts with two wins since January. He was claimed from his last two starts and won 12 days ago. (1) Heavyweight Champs was a front-end winner of a first-level NY-bred allowance last month against open company. (6) Ten Cent Town returns from a May layoff with four races in a row where he hit the board at this level.

3rd race [Clm 10000, 1 mi] – (7) Raw Power (B) raced wide on a track that was favoring inside runners and was third only ¾ length behind the winner. (1) Condiment Girl (B) also had to go wide on that same day when the inside paths were best, got to the lead, but lost by a head at the end. (3) My Royal Vow will drop down from her last two starts for $16,000 including a second in January. (6) Waitwaitdonttellme was second at this level, got claimed in January, and then tried to step up in class.

6th race [Clm 50000, 7F] – (6) Magnificent Mile (B) got squeezed back to last at the start and rallied for second. (3) Mandatory (B) was last seen racing in June when he broke last and rushed up in a second-level allowance. (1) Unlimitedpotential has a win and a second since racing returned to Aqueduct from Saratoga. (7) President Z was a winner in a $32,000 claimer in January with a closing move.

8th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (6) Counter Move (B) finished third in his debut after racing wide from the far outside of a large field behind a horse that came back to win his next start. (7) Dear Chairman gets first-time Lasix after a race where he lost all chance while at the start while trying to race nine-furlongs. (8) Attorney Wade was third in his debut in January behind a horse that came back to win his next start. (5) Kings and Dreams makes the first start of his career for the red-hot barn of Greg Sacco and has been training steadily.

Best bets: Acoustic Avenue (2nd); Counter Move (8th). Best value: Raw Power (3rd); Magnificent Mile (6th).
