1st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) Growth Equity has a pair of second-place finishes for Chad Brown in July at Saratoga and then last month at Gulfstream Park behind High Camp who ran in the Virginia Derby. (2) Stream It had the lead and finished third at Aqueduct going a mile last month. (1) Steady Force has a series of workouts at Payson Park since December for his debut for Brown. (5) Fightforallegiance has four starts since October for Linda Rice.
3rd race [Clm 25000 N2L, 6F] – (3) Cravings was claimed from a $35,000 maiden claiming win in November by Brad Cox and came back three weeks ago to miss by a nose in a $40,000 N2L claimer. (2) Clarividente won a $20,000 maiden in January and then was behind the top choice. (4) Belloro won a NY-bred maiden special weight in September, tried a few races that were too tough, and had to check at the start of that race with the top two in this field. (5) Power of Women easily won a $25,000 maiden with a front-end trip last month.
6th race [R, Moc 75000C, 7F] – (4) Waitin’onasunnyday was second the whole race last month with first-time Lasix and now changes to the barn of Carlos Martin. (1) Kaz Brio had a third at this level in January after two starts on the turf and then moved back up to a maiden special weight. (7) Neigh Baby started his career by hitting the board three times and then after a four-month layoff came up empty. Blinkers go on. (5) First Blessing finished top three in his last three starts in maiden claimers.
8th race [Md 20000, 7F] – (2) Counter Move dropped in for a tag for the first time on Dec. 31, set the pace, and finished third. He has six works prior to his return. (4) Into Inspiration pressed the pace and finished second in a similar spot three weeks ago. (1) Army Proud hit the board in his last three starts including last month in a similar spot. (8) Sounds Like Fun comes back from a June layoff when he was racing against better claimers for a trainer that can win after long layoffs.
