2nd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) Probability has three second-place finishes in a row including last month when he made his first start for Amelia Green. Blinkers come off. (6) Power Speed came back from a four month layoff, showed early speed, and finished fourth. (4) Mo Curls was claimed for $30,000 when he was second in December and stepped back up to this level. (1) Classic Commander changes barns and blinkers are off.

4th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (1) Alzero (C) was bet down from 8-1 to 6-1, got taken up at the break, and finished third three weeks ago. (3) Lord King pressed the pace in his third start and was fourth. (4) Speightful Storm returns from a December layoff and three fourth-place finishes in a row. (2) Poppy’s Ticket made his last two starts against open company with a second in a $40,000 claimer.

7th race [OC 75K/SAL 75k, 6F] – (6) Pinky Brier was first or second in 5 out of her last 6 starts with three wins with early speed. Last time she got bumped around early in the race and could not get involved. (8) Karey was second in a similar spot three weeks ago following a maiden claiming win. (2) Purple Divine was claimed for $40,000 two races back when she had the lead and ended up third. Last time she was also third in the Maddie May two weeks ago. (4) Caradise won a high price optional claimer in January and then did no running on a muddy and sealed track.

8th race [Clm 10000, 1 mi] – (1) Hours in a Day drops to the lowest level of his career following a pair of thirds for a $20,000 tag. (2) Brew Pub was third at this level in February and a week later was overmatched for $20,000. This will be career start 69 for the 8-year-old. (5) Hey Toby will drop after a series of starts in NY-bred allowance races. (6) Knox dropped to $10,000 and got claimed three weeks ago after running third.

Best bets: Probability (2nd); Pink Brier (7th). Best Value: Alzero (4th); Hours in a Day (8th).
