*D: Went down 2 or more betting notches and finished 4th or worse

3rd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/8 mi] – (1) Morethanafeeling (B) stumbled at the break, got steadied later in the race, and picked up some places to finish fourth. (5) Lucky Lucky Luke made his second career start after changing barns and moving to a new barn. He broke slowly and after a wide trip rallied for third. (4) Wanna Winna most recently was second going a mile and will try the added distance for the first time. (6) Engineer Empire was 7-1 in his debut for the Clement barn, made a middle move to third, and then faded a bit. He is projected to get loose on the lead.

4th race [Clm 10000, 1 1/8 mi] – (5) Royal Realm (C) was a past winner at today’s distance. He was hard held early, rallied for third, and got claimed for $10,000 when he was bet down from 6-1 to 7-2. (7) Truculent was claimed five times from recent races and drops back down to the level at which he was taken two races back. (2) Microscope was second by a nose two races ago going the nine-furlong distance. (6) Goldini is a past winner going today’s distance.

7th race [Alw 50000s, 6 ½ F] – (8) Victorious Wave was second at this level last time after a less than ideal trip and that was in his first start for hot trainer Rob Atras. (1) Win for Gold was claimed for $25,000 out of a two-length victory and is expected to get to the lead early again. (2) Big Venezuela hit the board in his last three starts at this level. (4) Zeebear was a debut winner by more than eight-lengths for $25,000 for Linda Rice at 7-2 and the third-place finisher came back to win his next start.

9th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) Refuah was second or third in his last eight starts and this is a field where he should finally get a win unless a first-timer is good. (8) Olympic Dreams has never run on a fast track after two sloppy tracks and a turf start. (4) Indian Mischief is a son of Into Mischief making his debut for Linda Rice who is dominating the Aqueduct winter meeting even with firsters. (7) Squid Gamer gets a pass for a poor first start where things did not go well even though he was bet to 7-1.

Best bets:  Victorious Wave (7th); Refuah (9th). Best value:  Morethanafeeling (3rd); Royal Realm (4th).
