1st race [Moc 40000C, 1 1/8 mi] – (4) Farm House finished second and third in her only two starts which were in NY-bred maiden special weights for Linda Rice who once again is dominating this Aqueduct winter meeting. (6) Game Like Reyana was third last time in a $40,000 maiden claimer. (2) Looking for Ginny finished in the top three in 7 out of 12 career starts. (1) Last Mango rallied from ninth and last to pass horses in her debut last month.
4th race [Clm 35000B, 1 mi] – (3) Whistler’s Style was claimed for $20,000 last month by a trainer that is having the best meeting of his career winning at 24%. (1) Mursal comes back from a year away when she was claimed for $32,000 for a trainer who has great numbers with long layoffs. (5) Toned Up has only top three finishes this year in three races. (4) Luna Moth was claimed three races ago for $32,000 when she finished third.
5th race [OC50k/SAL50k, 6F] – (7) Helen’s Revenge came from Oaklawn Park to make her first start for Linda Rice and ran third. (5) I Am Rue ships up from Parx Racing following a maiden claiming victory and a second for a $30,000 tag. (2) D’s a Rock was a debut winner for a $40,000 tag, ran fifth in a pair of NY-bred stakes, and was claimed for $50,000 when she was third. (1) Maxaluna won her debut after a poor start when she rallied to win a $40,000 maiden claimer at 7-1.
6th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 1 mi] – (6) Mia Nipotina (B) broke open the gate and finished third last time when she dropped down to this level for the first time. (8) Lem Me Drink hit the board three times in her last four starts at the $16,000 level. (9) Montauk Mystique broke her maiden two races ago for a $30,000 tag and then tried a $25,000 claimer. (5) Focus Pocus won a maiden claimer by more than 12 lengths in November and drops down to today’s level for the first time.
Best bets: Farm House (1st); Whistler’s Style (4th). Best value: Helen’s Revenge (5th); Mia Nipotina (6th).
