1st race [Md 35000, 1 mi] – (3) Dr. Insel (B) set the pace, rider lost the crop, and ended up third. (1) Momentum Files was claimed in October for $50,000 from his only turf start by Linda Rice and drops down to try and register a quick win. (2) Kavanaugh was claimed in August when he was third and since then finished second and third. (6) Sequential returned from a three-month layoff and ran for the waiver for Linda Rice. Blinkers go back on.

2nd race [NY, Md 30000, 1 mi] – (8) Good Cop dropped in for a tag in his second start, set the pace going a mile, and finished second beaten by less than a length. (1) Smallchangegeep was second at this level in September and then tried the turf to no avail. (3) Solo Jim moves back to the dirt where he did run second and drops into a claimer for the first time. (2) Inonit had a second in an open company claimer in March but all other races were in NY-bred maiden special weights.

3rd race [Pebbles (G3), 1 mi TURF] – (5) Fast Market (C) was bet down from 11-1 to 7-1 and lost by a neck in a Grade 2 to the favorite who was a graded stakes winner. (1) Paradise City was second by a nose in the Winter Memories (G3) at Aqueduct in September. (2) It Ain’t Two ships up from Kentucky but placed in two Woodbine stakes during the summer including a Grade 3. (6) Peak Hype ran a career best race as an allowance winner at the Big A for Chad Brown.

8th race [OC 75k/N2X, 6 ½ F] – (8) With the Angels puts her five-race undefeated career on the line as she faces open company for the second time after four dominant wins against NY-breds. (7) All Class drops into a claimer after trying the Gallant Bloom (G2). The last time she was in a claimer she was a winner and was taken for $62,500 in 2024. (3) Twirling Beauty moves back to the dirt after a turf try and a stakes win at Presque Isle on their Tapeta track. (6) Roswell won a first-level allowance at Saratoga and was third in September when she moved up a condition.

Best bets: Fast Market (3rd); With the Angels (8th). Best value: Dr. Insel (1st); Good Cop (2nd).
