6th race [Moc 75000C, 1 mi] – (10) Where’s Your Boom (A) was sent off at 9-1 for his debut, got steadied at the start, and rallied for second. (8) Grumblyrumhogan (A/D) was bet down from 9-2 to 5-2, got checked along the rail, and lost all chance in his second start. Blinkers come off. (6) The Obliterator was second when last seen at this level which was two races back. (9) Lucky Larry ships up from Parx with a second three weeks ago in his second start when he dropped in for a tag.

7th race [Clm 50000 N2L, 7F] – (2) Salming was a maiden special weight winner in September at Laurel Park by open lengths as the favorite. (6) Shadow Surge used early speed in his two starts this year with a maiden claiming win and a second for $30,000. (3) Hot Spun will drop in for a tag for the first time after racing in starter allowances and winning a special weight in May at Aqueduct. (8) Cocktailsnkringle has five top three finishes and was twice claimed from his maiden $20,000 win and a third for $30,000.

8th race [Pebbles (G3), 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (1) Fast Market (C) was bet down from 11-1 to 7-1 and lost by a neck in a Grade 2 to the favorite who was a graded stakes winner. She gets the meet’s leading rider. (5) Paradise City was second in the Winter Memories (G3) in September at the Big A. (6) Sweet Treasure has 3 wins from 4 starts including an October allowance at Churchill Downs. (2) Correto came back from an eight month layoff with back class against top horses like Nitrogen.

9th race [Md 20000, 1 1/8 mi] – (10) Dr. Insel (B) set the pace, rider lost the crop, and ended up third. (9) The Hero Code moves from turf to dirt with lots of speed figures that top this field. (6) Apalta drops down to this low level for Todd Pletcher and Flavien Prat. (7) Enduring Angel gets blinkers on for his second career start.

Best bets: Salming (7th); Fast Market (8th). Best value: Where’s Your Boom (6th); Dr. Insel (9th).
