2nd race [The Tempted, 1 mi] – (5) Believable was a front-end winner of her first start at the end of September beating a horse that came back to win her next race. (4) Secane was a winner by almost eight lengths of her only start which was at Gulfstream Park in August at 2-1. (3) Spa Prospector was a maiden winner at the Spa and then was third in the Adirondack (G3). Last seen she was fourth in a Keeneland allowance. (2) Shilling was a maiden winner on the front-end in her second start at Aqueduct last month.

3rd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (8) Red Velvet Cake (A) lost a head bob in her debut and finished far ahead of the rest of the eight-horse field. (1) Red Boots made her first start in a turf sprint at Saratoga in August when she was a third-place finisher. (4) Patience N Grace was third last time at Aqueduct. (5) Three Nines Five comes back from a June layoff, has a second-place finish, and the blinkers come off.

6th race [The Chelsey Flower, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (3) Deep Learning was a first-out winner at Saratoga, then went to Woodbine to run fifth in the Natalma (G1), last month was she second in the Miss Grillo (G2) at Aqueduct. (5) Fille d’Oro won her first start at 5-1 and then was fourth in the Miss Grillo. (6) Tideoftime was a first out maiden winner at Laurel Park at 7-2. (7) Candy Moonshine had top three finishes in all six of her races including at maiden at Aqueduct just 11 days ago.

7th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (9) Magic in My Eyes (B) finished second in her first career start and was well clear of the rest of the large field. (7) Margarita Molly used early speed to finish third in her Saratoga debut and was fourth in a Finger Lakes stakes for state-breds. (8) Hot Currency was second in her first race and third at Aqueduct both times at 5-2. (10) Absolute Smoke also ran well in two races while getting plenty of attention at the betting windows.

Best bets: Red Velvet Cake (3rd); Deep Learning (6th). Best value: Believable (2nd); Magic in My Eyes (7th).
