4^th race [NY, Md 50000, 6F TURF] – (7) Hot Off the Beach (A) finished second in his debut at 3-1 and finished well clear of the rest of the field. (8) My Munny Talks returned from a four-month layoff and the turf and changed barns to show early speed and finish third as the 3-1 favorite last month. (9) Mykonos set the pace last month in a similar spot and missed the win by a head after battling down the stretch. (3) High Leverage cut back to a turf sprint and was part of a contested, fast pace in a maiden special weight.

5^th race [NY, Md 50000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (6) Royal Ascendshin made one start last month and rallied to finish second in an eight-horse field. (4) Sicilian Dancer dropped back in for a tag again and ran an improved race to third. (1) Foto was keen in the early going in his last race a month ago, got to the lead, and ended up a close fourth. (8) Manor Park was 9-2 in her debut for Miguel Clement and had a troubled start.

7^th race [NY, Stallion Series, 6F TURF] – (5) Celtic Dawn won both of her starts moving from a maiden win last year to an allowance last month. (6) Encantar came back from a winter layoff, moved from dirt to turf, and was a winner by a neck going long. (2) Dancingwithdestiny has plenty of early speed in turf sprints. (4) Miss Jane Hathaway was a debut winner who then tried a restricted stakes and moves from dirt to turf.

8^th race [Md 90000, 1 mi TURF] – (1) Loveontheleftbank (A) raced wide, got fouled in the stretch, and was moved up to third by disqualification. (5) Ticket to Ride (A/C) was bet down from 4-1 to 5-2, steadied and checked three times, had to alter paths, and still was second. (2) Pinch of Bourbon has early speed and drops into a maiden claimer for the first time whose best finish was a second in the fall. (8) Tiz the Lady was moved up to second by disqualification last month and was third in a Tampa turf maiden in January.

Best bets:  Hot Off the Beach (4^th); Celtic Dawn (7^th). Best Value: Royal Ascendshin (5^th); Loveontheleftbank (8^th).
