1^st race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (1) Be Real will make his first start for Pletcher, Repole, and Irad Ortiz. He sold for $300,000 as a yearling and his dam produced a stakes-placed winner of $423,000 that won first out. (2) Fully Booked will debut for Chad Brown, Klaravich, and Flavien Prat. He sold for $460,000 as a yearling. (5) Hot Spun ran his best race last month when he set the pace and ended up third. (3) Into Inspiration came up from Kentucky, changed barns to a NY trainer, and showed some speed last time.

2^nd race [Clm 17500 N2L, 1 mi] – (1) Focus Pocus set the pace in her last two starts at this level and distance. (2) Danneel also showed speed and ran well in this company and gets a positive rider change. (3) That’sthefactjack was third at this level of competition last month. (5) Brooklyn Dantz makes a drop in class.

4^th race [NY, Md 30000, 1 mi] – (3) Runamor battled for the lead all race and missed by a head. He was claimed for $30,000 by Linda Rice and gets blinkers off. (4) Fines Creek was second and then third recently and the blinkers are off for this start. (6) Monomoys Partner had a second back in February. (5) Yo Bro made two starts on the grass, drops down in class, and tries the main track.

5^th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (3) Fresh Start (D) was bet down from 9-1 to 7-1 when moving from dirt to turf in his second start, set the pace, fought down the stretch but finished fourth. (8) English Castle returns from the winter layoff, blinkers go on, and was last seen running fourth on the main track but has a few good grass races. (1) Cognoscenti made three starts at Gulfstream Park with two on the turf and gets Irad Ortiz. (4) Before the Wind ran twice on the grass at Laurel Park against open company in October and then just two weeks ago.

Best bets: Be Real (1^st); Runamor (4^th). Best value: Focus Pocus (2^nd); Fresh Start (5^th).
