3rd race [Sheepshead Bay (G3), 1 3/8 mi TURF] – (4) Beach Bomb won two Grade 3 turf stakes at Gulfstream Park in March going long distances for Graham Motion. (2) Silvology rallied late to finish second by a head in the Orchid (G3) behind the top choice. (5) Le Mehana was a neck behind the top two in the Gulfstream Grade 3 on March 29. (1) Bellezza returns from a September layoff after racing in Ireland and changes to the Clement barn.
4th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (2) Counter Move made two starts in the late winter and finished third and then second. (6) Vitalize finished in the top three in his three most recent races at this level. (5) Mozambique was last seen in November at the Big A when he finished second in his second career start and gets first-time Lasix now. (1) Palace Boss hit the board three times in similar spots including last month.
5th race [OC50k/SAL40k, 6F TURF] – (11) Typhoon Fury returns from a winter break and was a turf sprint winner for a $40,000 tag and in a maiden claimer for $50,000. (9) My Life Story also was off for the winter and was a maiden winner for a $40,000 tag in a turf sprint. (4) I See You Lookin ran well on the grass last summer and has been racing on the dirt in New York with a pair of victories for a $16,000 tag. (3) Carcone raced once in January when he was the winner of a $20,000 maiden claimer and has turf breeding on the top and bottom.
9th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi TURF] – (2) Luckforyou was second in her only turf start at Saratoga in August and continued to race on the main track through the winter. (10) Consumer Sentiment ran once in March as the favorite and finished third after pressing the pace. (7) More for Sure started four times, all on the grass, and got a second, a third, and a fourth. (4) Sota Summers is a first-time starter for Chad Brown who wins at 18% with firsters on the turf.
