2nd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 3/16 mi TURF] – (5) Magnum’s Microbrst (B) set the pace in her turf debut and finished second well clear of the rest of the field. (3) Mendee (C) returned from a winter break from turf racing, got bet down from 8-1 to 6-1, and finished third. (7) Green Jobs returns from a January layoff when she rallied from last to finish third at Gulfstream Park on their Tapeta track and blinkers go on. (2) More for Sure moved from Florida to the Aqueduct turf three weeks ago, rallied from the back of the field to get second, and the blinkers come off.
5th race [Clm 30000 N3L, 6 ½ F] – (7) Despo’s Dream was claimed twice in her last three starts including two weeks ago for $17,500 when she was just behind the lead and finished second. (6) Lady Sriracha was third last time in a similar spot after winning at the N2L condition for $25,000. (8) Dashing Della set the pace three weeks ago and finished second. (4) She’s Wicked Smart won a $16,000 N2L claimer last month with a front-end effort and got claimed by a trainer who has a 35% win rate with new claims.
8th race [Alw 50000s, 1 mi] – (6) Street View (B) stepped up to this starter allowance level in his first start after getting claimed, had the lead, and ran a clear second. (8) Houlton won his last start and was claimed for $40,000. (1A) Golden Symphony was a front-end winner three weeks ago in a $50,000 maiden claimer in his first start after being claimed by Linda Rice and then was taken by Brad Cox. (2B) Mad Banker was a pace-pressing winner of a $25,000 starter allowance at Parx Racing for Jamie Ness.
9th race [NY, Md 30000, 6 ½ F] – (6) Rocked Out (A) returned from a four-month layoff to run the best race of his career where he had the lead and finished second besting the others. (9) Omaha Pistol was claimed by Linda Rice in April when he was part of the pace and finished second in a similar spot. (5) Tiote will drop in for a tag for the first time after three starts that included a third and a second. (2) Free Dance will drop back into the claiming ranks and back to the main track in a spot where he will be a win contender.
Best bets: Despo’s Dream (5th); Street View (8th). Best value: Magnum’s Microbrst (2nd); Rocked Out (9th).
