2nd race [Alw 55000s, 7F] – (3) Adrian (B) was last seen in November when she had a troubled start and got very far back for Linda Rice. (5) Grace and Grit gets blinkers on after a win for $50,000 and then a second in a starter allowance last month. (4) Princess Ny was also second in a starter allowance just 13 days ago for Linda Rice. (1) Mezcalifornia was claimed twice from her last three races with a win in April for $30,000.
3rd race [Clm 16000, 6 ½ F] – (3) Nabokov was a winner at this level two races back in March and then was third after setting the pace. (5) He’s Got This was claimed in 3 out of his last 4 starts for $10,000 each time, was second for $16,000 in April, and gets a positive rider change. (2) Dot’s Dollar won for $10,000 in February and then tried a starter allowance. (1) Graywing got a victory at this level on April 11, got claimed for $10,000 two weeks later, and comes back again in 13 days.
7th race [NY, Alw 82000 N1X, 6F TURF] – (8) Floy Joy was a debut winner last month after battling head to head the whole race and moves from dirt to turf with a strong turf pedigree. (1) One Last Knock returned from a winter layoff and now has four second-place finishes in a row. (2) Disco Star has been off since September and is stakes-placed against open-company and state-breds. (5) Dancingwithdestiny was away since October when she won an allowance at Laurel Park. Paco Lopez is named to ride.
8th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) Ticket to Ride (A/C) was bet down from 4-1 to 5-2 following a three-month layoff, steadied three times, altered path, and still finished second in a field of 11. (7) Beau’s Bella (B) got taken up after a poor start, quickly moved to a stalking position, was third, and gets a noteworthy rider change. (6) Felixyn crossed the line first in her debut at Tampa in March, but got dq’d to fifth, and changes to the barn of Tom Morley. (9) Soaring Spirit will make her debut for the Clement barn after training in Florida.
