1st race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (1) Mila Candy (B) had the lead in the stretch in her debut and finished second well clear of the rest of the field. (2) Numbered will make her first start for Todd Pletcher and Repole Stable as a $425,000 yearling purchase. (5) Sporting Lady changed barns after running twice at Colonial Downs last summer with a second in a turf sprint. (6) Shirl’s Delight finished second or third in her last seven starts.

2nd race [Clm 10000, 1 mi] – (5) Raw Power (B) rallied from seventh to second on a track that was favoring speed horses and got claimed. (3) Floge changes to the barn of Brad Cox and returns from a February layoff when she was claimed for $25,000 after a second-place finish. (1) It Takes Heart and (1A) Goldcrest are both win contenders for the Kantarmaci barn. (2) Trade Secret was a winner last time as this level last month for Linda Rice.

3rd race [Md 20000, 7F] – (2) Very Satisfactory (B) finished second for the fourth time in a row, was claimed by Linda Rice, and cuts back from a mile. (7) Battle Anthem made three starts in Tampa maiden special weights. (5) Her Sugar Baby pressed the pace and finished third in her third start which was at the $20,000 level. (1) Spirit Dragon will start her career for a trainer that won recently with a debut maiden claimer.

4th race [OC 100k/N1X, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (4) Obeissante stretched out to a mile and broke her maiden in her second try at Gulfstream last month. (2) Serendipity won at first asking going a mile at Gulfstream in March at 5-1 against an 11-horse field. (1) Forward Deployed broke her maiden in her third try in Florida also, tried a stakes, and then was third in an allowance at Tampa Downs. (7) Lavender Disaster returns from a winter break after a debut win at Aqueduct and a try in the Miss Grillo (G3) in the fall.

Best bets: Mila Candy (1st); Very Satisfactory (3rd). Best value: Raw Power (2nd); Obeissante (4th).
