st race [NY, Md 50000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (12) Sky Low Low (B) came back from a 10 month layoff, got pinched back to 11th, and then rallied to second in her first start after a barn change. (11) Just One More set the pace three weeks ago in a similar spot and finished second. (4) Princess Summer finished in the top three twice recently in this kind of race and comes back from a short layoff. (2) Fire Agate faced open-company last time and returns to this level where she was third in August.

rd race [Md 50000, 1 mi] – (2) Metatron (B) was off for 15 months, had to rally seven wide, and got to third after a barn change. (7) Private Flight drops into a maiden claimer for the first time for a veteran trainer that is winning some races lately. (6) Extrasensory debuted on the turf at Saratoga and gets blinkers on for Chad Brown. (1) Fiscal Drag was claimed for $50,000 by Linda Rice from a third-place finish when he was in for a tag for the first time.

th race [Carle Place, 6F TURF] – (10) Spiced Up had a poor trip and did not take to Kentucky Downs but before that won the Mahoney (G3) at Saratoga. (9) Cairo Caper will cut back to turf sprinting where he won both times at Woodbine with a stakes victory. (8) No Evidence finished only in the top three in six career starts including a pair of thirds in Grade 3 races at the Spa. (5) Out On Bail is another one with a great record. Except for his last try in the Franklin Sampson (G1) which came after a layoff, he hit the board in his other eight starts which includes stakes racing only since breaking his maiden against NY-breds.

th race [Clm 30000 N2L, 6 ½ F] – (7) Itwillbefun was claimed in April for $40,000, had some bad luck since then, and makes her second start following a short layoff. (8) Helen’s Revenge comes back from a March layoff and drops into the N2L condition since breaking her maiden at Oaklawn Park. (4) Take Me to Londyn returns from a January layoff, gets first-time Lasix, and tries N2L for the first time. (1) Chocolatechocolate had five top three finishes in maiden claimers before getting the win three weeks ago and was claimed for $20,000 by Linda Rice.

Best bets: Spiced Up (4th); Itwillbefun (6th). Best value: Sky Low Low (1st); Metatron (3rd).
