7th race [Sands Point (G2), 1 1/8 mi TURF] – (5) Ready for Candy won the Winter Memories (G3) at Aqueduct last month following a maiden breaker after returning to the turf for a hot trainer. (6) Pretty Picture won her debut on the turf for Chad Brown and then a turf-meant allowance and both were run at Monmouth Park. (7) Paradise City was second by a nose in the Winter Memories in her first start on the grass after being stakes-placed on the dirt. (8) Decadent won her first two starts on the dirt and then came back from a five-month layoff to try the Cathryn Sophia at Parx. Last seen she was third in that Winter Memories.

9th race [Alw 50000s, 1 mi] – (12) Treaty Obligation (C) was bet down from 5-1 to 7-2 in a second-level allowance where he pressed the pace and finished third. (8) Twenty Four Mamba was claimed two races back for $50,000 when he missed by a nose at Saratoga and then tried a stakes race. He won two allowances at Aqueduct in the spring. (9) Light the Way has four wins this year since he was claimed by Linda Rice including two at the Spa. (6) Emirates Road returns from a February layoff after a career best performance in an allowance at Aqueduct for Brad Cox.

10th race [Alw 50000s, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) Tut’s Revenge (A) checked off heels when he was impeded in the stretch, had the lead, and finished fourth beaten by just a length. (6) Risk Manager won his last two races in Kentucky in a starter allowance at Ellis Park and then a second-level allowance at Kentucky Downs and both were against large fields. (1) Belouni has two wins this year and was claimed for $40,000 last time. (10) Walley World finished first or second in all five starts this year at four different tracks.

11th race [Alw 50000s, 6F TURF] – (6) Cynane (A) was stuck in traffic, got clear with a 1/16th of a mile left, and was able to rally for third. (5) Strictly Taboo was a NY-bred second-level allowance winner two starts ago. (3) Thiene won twice at Deauville in France and blinkers come off after trying them last time. (7) Peony won her last three starts in New Jersey including the Meadowlands three weeks ago.

Best bets: Ready for Candy (7th); Cynane (11th). Best Value:  Treaty Obligation (9th); Tut’s Revenge (10th).
