(2) Shoot the Nickel will drop into a N2L condition for the first time with several top three finishes in starter allowances. (6) Tapwrits Temper was second after having the lead when he tried a N2L following a five month layoff and comes back after short rest. (3) Turn and Count will race for a tag for the first time having been a maiden special weight winner and faced a couple of strong allowance fields.

3rd race [Clm 20000, 1 mi] – (6) Echo in Eternity returned from a four month layoff, set the pace, and got claimed for $25,000 by Linda Rice after running fifth. (8) Florida Flower won his last two starts in a N3L claimer at Saratoga and a Finger Lakes allowance after getting claimed three times. (7) Whistler’s Style was second twice and got claimed from his last four starts for $12,500 to $20,000 last month. (2) Coquito got claimed three times and then raced in very tough spots twice for Linda Rice. Last time she broke badly and lost all chance.

5th race [Moc 75000C, 6F TURF] – (3) Grumblyrumhogan debuted at this level three weeks ago, had the lead at the stretch call, and finished third at 6-1. (6) B Raging On set the pace in a maiden special weight and finished fourth last month and blinkers go on. (6) Capital Gal was in that same race as the top choice last time where she was on the lead and ended up fourth. (2) Purpose has been picking up checks at this level since winning a maiden claimer. (5) Grace and Grit will move back to the main track where she has run well in the past. She will make her first start after changing to the Linda Rice barn.

Best bets: Secured Lender (1st); Higher Force (7th). Best value: Echo in Eternity (3rd); Grumblyrumhogan (5th).
