2nd race [Clm 20000, 7F] – (1) Whistler’s Style (A) rallied from last to second on two weeks rest, got claimed back from Wayne Potts by Linda Rice. (7) Echo in Eternity (A) stumbled at the break and finished second by a neck after a stretch duel. (8) Problematica ran in three starter allowances at Saratoga and had an easy front-end victory last month. (2) Brzina was claimed from her last three starts including the last time that she raced in May and was in front the whole race for a $20,000 tag.

3rd race [OC 50k/N1X, 1 1/8 mi] – (5) Fully Subscribed (C) was bet down from 5-1 to 3-1 following a year layoff, had the lead, and finished third. (6) Danzit was second in June in her first start of the year and then broke her maiden at Saratoga in August as the favorite for Todd Pletcher. (4) Coquito ran twice at the Spa going the two turns with a win for $12,500, was claimed by Linda Rice, and then had the lead and missed by a neck in a starter allowance. (3) Scarlett’s Halo broke her maiden going a mile at Saratoga in July in her only start on the dirt.

6th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (11) Fourth and One (B) made his first start in a NY-bred stakes at Saratoga with 5-2 odds where he set the pace and finished second. (1) Combat Mission was third in his debut in August for a trainer with a 29% win rate with second time starters. (5) Power Speed sold for $700,000 in May and flashed a bit of speed in her first start last month as the 1-1 favorite for Pletcher. (10) The Toy Cannon has a strong work tab showing for his debut for Chad Summers and Gold Square.

7th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) All About You (B) stumbled at the start, set the pace, and was game to finish third in a full field. (1) Jadorlinija will make her debut and is a son of Curlin out of the Grade 1 winning $1 million earner Celestine. (10) Believable was an $800,000 yearling purchase for Repole and Pletcher. He is by Curlin and a full-sister to a millionaire that won the Jim Dandy (G2). (2) Connect the Stars has three second-place finishes in a row going long on the turf. Trainer Mark Casse is 20% going from turf to dirt.

Best bets: Fully Subscribed (3rd); Fourth and One (6th). Best value: Whistler’s Style (2nd); All About You (7th).
