1st race [NY, Md 30000, 1 mi] – (3) Calling an Audible (A) stumbled out of the gate, was keen and a bit rank while in tight on the rail, and finished third. (7) Giant At Work hit the board twice for a $40,000 tag and then was fourth in a maiden special weight at Aqueduct in March. (2) Twirly did no running on the turf last month after two tries on the main track. (1) Immigration Law was second three weeks ago at Aqueduct going nine furlongs.
4th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (4) Snowyte was second in a maiden at Saratoga and the Frizette (G1) at Aqueduct then tried the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). She was third in April in a maiden at Keeneland. (6) Mazayaat was second in both of her races first at Gulfstream Park and then at Keeneland. (7) Sheer Will has a pair of fourth-place finishes this year at Aqueduct. (3) High Note was third in her debut at Tampa and then showed more speed at Keeneland with blinkers on. Blinkers come off now.
6th race [Clm 17500 N2L, 6F] – (7) Cdakhat broke her maiden for a $50,000 tag on the Tapeta at Gulfstream and then was third in a starter allowance. (8) Shaman Princess has three second-place finishes in a row for $16,000. (5) Blue Eyed Scout broke her maiden for $40,000 against NY-breds and was claimed by Brad Cox in February and then tried a starter allowance last month. (3) City Blocks was off since November. She had a bunch of seconds in allowance races at Finger Lakes and a maiden win at Aqueduct.
8th race [Md Sp Wt, 6F TURF] – (9) Benny The Waiter ships up after two turf starts at Gulfstream including last month when he set the pace and finished third. (4) Discotheque was second in his last three starts this year on the Tapeta at Turfway Park. (1) Antisocial returns from the winter off to try the turf for the first time with a workout on the grass showing. Last year he was third twice including his debut in the Smoke Glacken at Monmouth Park. (3) Shadow Banking will debut for Chad Brown and Klaravich Stables.
Best bets: Snowyte (4th); Cdakhat (6th). Best value: Calling an Audible (1st); Benny The Waiter (8th).
