st race [Md 20000, 1 1/16 mi] – (7) Jeter and Judge was sent off at 4-1 in his debut at Tampa Bay Downs on the turf and gets the blinkers on while dropping in class and moving to the main track. (8) Bold Honor was second last month at Aqueduct going seven-furlongs. This field is lacking in early speed which may give him the chance to get to the lead from the outside post going one turn. (1) Old Point was claimed two races back, tried the grass in his first start for Linda Rice, and now moves back to the main track where he finished second twice. (6) Steady Progress brings plenty of experience at this level into the race.

nd race [Clm 25000 N2L, 1 mi] – (4) Chasing Daylight had one race this year after winning her debut last year. She ran in a state-bred allowance in April and could be on the lead in this claimer against open company. (3) Hypnocurrency was third in a starter allowance two races back. (1) Susie’s Saver will return to the main track after four turf starts recently. She did break her maiden in December on the dirt for a $40,000 tag. (5) Mursal got her victory for $50,000 and has been racing against better on the grass.

th race [NY, Md 40000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) October Bliss made a big improvement in his first start on the grass when he pressed the pace, got the lead, and finished second. (8) Maythisbetheone made his first start of the year on the grass and finished third behind the top choice. (5) Myles will be forwardly placed after setting the pace in the race with the first two horses described. (9) Awesome Force gets blinkers on as he drops into a maiden claimer for the first time.

th race [Alw 95000 N1X, 6F] – (9) Who Hoo Thats Me won a top-level allowance for NY-breds at Aqueduct in January and returns from that race still eligible for the first-level allowance against open company. (1) Romantic Gamble has four wins on dirt tracks and a fast pace is expected which should aid his closing style. (3) Digital Future was a late-running winner of a $25,000 claimer last month at Aqueduct. (4) Varatti has been away for almost a year and was a debut winner for Todd Pletcher.

Best bets: Chasing Daylight (2nd); October Bliss (5th). Best value: Jeter and Judge (1st); Who Hoo That’s Me (7th).
