1^st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) Tap Our Way (B) finished second behind an open-length winner but was well clear of the rest of the field. (1) Mystrix was second in both of his races including the Hopeful (G1). (7) Mystik Bayou was third in that race with the top choice and U. S. S. Valor. (4) Election Hero will debut for Chad Brown and Klaravich Stables and sold as a yearling for $210,000 from a $12,500-fee stallion.

8^th race [Champagne (G1), 1 mi] – (5) U. S. S. Valor (A) was geared down to win by more than 13 lengths in a fast time and with the best speed figure for any 2-year-old this year. (4) Club Reign (A) was a six-length winner of his debut against a good field at Saratoga. (3) Gaudreau was the winner of his first race in August beating the favorites from the Champagne and at Keeneland in the Breeders’ Futurity (G1) on Saturday. (6) Earth Song was another easy debut winner but his was at Monmouth Park in a field of three.

9^th race [Frizette (G1), 1 mi] – (4) Libby Lloyd (A) is a home-bred daughter of Into Mischief who won her only race by 10 lengths at 6-5 at Saratoga. (5) Dotsy (A) drew off to win her debut at 5-1. (1) Revenge of the Sis made her debut going a mile in the Sorority at Monmouth and got third after a slow break and having to steady. (7) Velora won both of her races as an odds-on favorite against NY-breds in a maiden and a stakes.

11^th race [Pilgrim (G2), 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) House of War (A) was an impressive debut winner going two-turns. (4) Roscoe Goose (A) raced wide in her debut and rallied to miss by a head in a full field. (7) Stock Rising (A) used a strong late rally to finish third at 8-1 on the final weekend at Saratoga. (1) Chief of Peace won his only race with a closing win by a head.

Best bets: U.S.S. Valor (8^th); Libby Lloyd (9^th). Best value: Tap Our Way (1^st); House of War (11^th).
